Introduction
This is part 1 of a 5 part collaborative effort with Christopher Tarampi of Esthetic Core. We will be showcasing inspirational fliers and posters in different genres.
Typography plays such a big role in graphic design. The following will show you various ways to organize information and graphical elements when designing fliers. There are so many creative approaches when working with type. Here’s an overview of what we plan to cover…
Inspirational Creative Fliers by Genre
Inspirational Rock Fliers & Posters
Front Line Assembly Flyer
Awesome grunge designs. Smart color choices and I love this font.
YELLE Gig Flyer
More cool font choices. This flyer is playful. The color is splashed in at just the right amount, nothing is overdone.
Sparkle of Hope Flyer
This is not my favorite fonts or poster, but it is visually effective.
Mayhem Concert Flyer
This is probably my favorite flyer of this collection. Just enough grunge, and more great font choices.
The Draft Flyer
This is vintage done right.
Flyer
What a cool style! It’s not effective for detailing what the flier is about, but I love the designer’s style, and small touches.
Black Metal Jacket Flyer
Great use of whitespace.
Flyer Imm3moria
Great warmth, color and alignment in this poster.
“Dive In” Indie Flyer
This brown, cyan, pink combo is usually very effective. Nice use of grunge elements.
Chaos Theory Flyer
I’m loving the textures of this flyer.
Rock and All Flyer
Cool retro colors and interesting visual designs.
Conclusion
I hope this post gives you some design inspiration for your next project. Stay tuned for more examples in different genres as we continue this series in the weeks to come.

I enjoyed all of them but I have to say I liked the Front Line Assembly one the best. It looks rough with the “dirtied up” font and the concrete-like edges while at the same time, it’s organized with the two-column format.
Another thing I noticed is that you selected great color combinations for every design. The combination of colors in every poster works perfectly with the overall desired mood for the subject as I found myself being more mellow on some designs and feeling quite aggressive on some. Very effective and very creative. Thanks for sharing!

I like most of these designs. Some of them like Flyer Imm3moria, is not really my style but I must say are still interesting.
