In one of my current projects I have to recreate a logo that has some script elements in it. Which left me curious about logo inspiration with script fonts. The response to that curiosity, is the list that I’ve assembled below of beautifully designed logos.

The overall growth of MyInkBlog has exceeded any of my early expectations. I am overwhelmed by how robust and helpful the design community is. This is also a really exciting time for me personally, as I’ve accepted a new job as a web developer for Niagara University.

In this tutorial I want to detail how to create text along a path in an interesting way and apply it to a common application. Although the circular logo has been used forever, it can still be effective if done well, while mixing in some modern design. In this case, we are going to use some vector art, then grunge it up.

Illustrator is an amazing tool for building scalable vector art. With the sudden icon craze, it is ideal for creating these little doodads. Many of them are shiny, glossy, icons, but I must admit that I sometimes get tired of them. I’ve decided to see what you can do with texture within Illustrator.
