The cool folks at CodeSublime approached me about offering a giveaway on MIB that could really show off there coding skills. After some brainstorming we devised a unique PSD to Wordpress Contest Giveaway. I’ve seen quite a few PSD to HTML style giveaways, but I can’t recall any that go the extra mile of offering a full Worpress Theme.
The Details
This is a awesome chance to win a fully coded Wordpress theme from just your PSD files. In total it’s a $600 value. Even, if you don’t win the big prize, everyone who submits a design will receive a 10% voucher code should they decide to get their site coded by CodeSublime.
Given that this is such a unique giveaway, we wanted to do something different than the traditional comment/tweet to win type thing. For this contest we are asking you to submit your designs to be judged by a group of five designers, with the top design getting the prize. Your site design can be for an upcoming project, or something from scratch that you think up just for this contest.
Meet The Judges
The contest will be judged by 5 awesome designers… well, 4 awesome designers + myself. Here is the list.

nice contest. I’ll be entering a couple pieces :)
Also, is there the ability to code a custom home page for the theme (ie: magazine style?) or is this strictly blog style layouts?
November 11, 2009
@Mike Smith – Yeah, they said they could definitely do custom styles like that.
November 11, 2009
@Mike Smith
Thanks for the great question, Mike. As Andrew said – we can certainly handle custom pages for your WordPress theme. This is the real deal. Style your theme however you’d like. We’ll take care of the coding :)
Best of luck to all!

sweet contest thanks a ton for hosting!
A few questions –
how much input will the winner have on how things are coded?
how many pages/subpages for the winning website will be coded?
thanks again, this is a rockin contest!
December 4, 2009
@Phil D – Here are the responses I got from Code Sublime… They will cap the pages at 5. As for coding input, it depends on what we’re talking about. We’re happy to work with the winner, and we always try to provide code that is semantic and logical. They will try to accommodate requests as best as possible.

I’m joining :-D!
I wish everybody good luck!
December 12, 2009
Oh, I have a question:
Will CodeSublime use @font-face? Because then I could use other fonts :-)
December 12, 2009
Oh yeah, and just a small correction:
Their is no limit to the number of submissions you can make.
should be
There is no limit to the number of submissions you can make.
Just telling ;-)

I uploaded a design but for some reason it isn’t showing up in the group. Is this an error on my part?
