Yeah, I sometimes hate my own hosting company. And I work for a hosting review site so we hear all sorts of complaints on both sides of the aisle. The only thing I can say is to try to develop a relationship with your provider so if things go wrong, you have someone to contact quickly.

I own my own hosting company called Host Arkansas. I saw you said you got offered 6/Month I can offer you the same thing if you can let me know for $5 a month and I am on a very sable server that doesn’t go down and I have been on the same server since late 2007 and still no down time. Hi there, thanks for posting interested post. As far for my experience, the most reliable web hosting is Hostgator.. Even thought I like others hosting too, but Hostgator still in the top of my list for quality and stable hosting.

If you’re looking for a cheap but reliable one for a small blog, ixWebhosting is the best i guess. I’ve been with them for 2 years without any problem as such. There have been minor sluggishness in page loads but never have my sites had any major downtimes.

If your traffic is beyond 15,000 to 20,000 uniques per day then go for mediatemple. Their grid server plan handles more or less anything you throw at it. Now that my traffic is growing at a rapid pace i’m planning to shift to (mt) from ixwebhosting

If your blog has got traffic below 15,000 to 20,000 uniques per day go for ixWebhosting else go for mediatemple.
